Barbie's Eyes (Part 1)

GUYS. Insomnia is not that bad. Sometimes I can't sleep and I get myself into things that I never thought I could do. Like eyes. That's right! POW! POW! BANG! I made eyes! They're really, and I mean really, plain. Boring. I actually made them to match my game, but hey, maybe they match yours, as well? I used Sahra's sclera as a base and then "handpainted" the rest. I'm really happy with the result, even though it's nothing really original. Just simple eyes with one catchlight. I like them! And I hope they're useful for someone else, too. Expect some supernaturals soon (alien, werewolf, vampire, zombie, plantsim, maybe genie).


There are only 5 colors for now (I know, the picture says 4), and these are defaults only, since I hardly use any geneticized/townified or custom eyes in my game. Let me know if you'd like me to extract them for you though. Or feel free to do it yourself, if you wish.
So, light blue is pictured above (model: Jane). Here's a closeup:

Oh my god, how beautiful they are! I like that they're plain, it fits my game. I've used a version of Sahra's for years now, but I think I'm gonna try yours and see if I like them. Thank you!

Ooh, they're really pretty! I've been using my Sarhra eyes forever and even though I still like them, these look like they would fit in my game perfectly. I can't wait to try!

These are very nice! So crisp and clear, and wonderful colour choices. :) For the supernaturals that are full skin overlays, what skin would you use? (And would you consider doing Bigfoot as well? :))

Thanks so much! Err, I guess I forgot to mention the poor Bigfoot. :D Yes, I'll be doing all of the creatures, but... full skin overlays? WAT? Tell me more please, I think I've missed something. Oh and I would use the skins I'm using as defaults atm, I guess? :) They're Leh's newest skins.

These look really good! It's a nice option for Maxis-match games, because they're nice and crisp and would work well with the cartoony-ness of the game. I might test them out when I get my gaming computer back in action.

Congratulations on your first eyes! ;) They look really good even though I probably won't be using them in this incarnation of my game. And I love that you're providing large in-game close-ups! ^_^

I may not play a maxis match game but I can definitely say these are pretty! Hand painting eyes is a lot of fun xD (I think my overly large collection of eyes speaks for itself)

Oh my god, these are just the thing I've been looking for. I also have a wee question...

Would it be okay for me to make supernatural defaults of these? (and maybe more colors too?)

Oh, I'm glad these are useful! And, it would be absolutely okay. :) I myself was actually planning to make supernaturals too, but I would definitely love to see what you come up with! As for more colors, hell yes! Feel free to recolor, default, mix, squeeze... I don't mind at all. :)
